Lance is on his way to Texas tonight to pick up the second well drilling rig for Hope Without Borders.
In many countries, women are responsible for finding and fetching water for their families. All the water they need for drinking, washing, cooking, cleaning. They walk miles, carry heavy buckets of water and can wait for hours in long lines. Many times they have to walk through unsafe areas to get the water. Frequently the water is contaminated and drinking it can cause illness or even death.
There are still 780 million people without access to an improved drinking water source. (UNICEF, 2012)
Without nearby water, women of Kenya walk, on average, eight hours carrying 45 lb. of water every day.
We still need to raise funds to ship these rigs. To donate please click on the "Donate" button below.
