Hallo All,
I take this
opportunity to thank you greatly. You sacrificed time, money and above
all travelled thousands miles to visit with us. Despite all risks in
Africa (health & insecurity) you dared and stayed away from your
comfort zones and families leading the way in spreading hope. Note: you
have immensely imparted on us and all the people you attended during
your stay in Tanzania Africa.
In your
undertakings you defied all odds i.e. jet leg and tiredness immediately
after arrival. Your acts were selfless above measure. Upon checking into
your respective rooms, behold I saw wonderful sweet American ladies
storm out in mighty strength as they sort out medical supplies and
luggage stuff ready for action the next day which was only a couple
hours away that night(2-3). Nevertheless I hope you forgave us for the
African welcome of one meal a day-less than a dollar though (Half glass
juice for the night).
Friday
morning while in bed, it was amazing to hear some of you share and chart
outside my hotel room as you didn’t want your camera’s to miss images
of birds and Mt.Kilimanjaro as early as 6.00am EAT. The climax came when
you arrived at Kisao clinic to administer free medical attention. I saw
hopeless children; mothers and fathers come from far and wide for
treatment. All waited in hope of treatment beyond doubt. By use of horn
blowing (African public address System) on whose sound travel
meters/miles away, people came to learn of the major event-free medical
camp. What became evident was hope was alive and a reality on patients
faces in the understanding a Whiteman medicine person is in the village
and all our ailment are treated on prescribed medication. In the spirit
and later of faith coupled with what you administered to patients, I
believe all to whom you attended are recovered if not getting better
health wise. In reference to volunteering with us, your donations,
support, and contribution besides all that happened behind our scenes we
say “THANK YOU AND WE APPRECIATE GRACIOUSLY”
Hope
Without borders International-Kenya and USA are like a wife and
Husband. The wife conceived & carried pregnancy for 9month. You and
your role came in at the labour ward (Tanzania). As doctors / medical
practitioners you facilitated the delivery of bundle of joy bouncing
baby called “health people and or community”. HWB made a name courtesy
you. The need to monitor progress and care for our new family member
baby remains the greatest challenge. We hope our unity of purpose still
counts and stand on caring for to enhance development of the said baby.
Note: Hope Without Borders is nothing without you, your friend and or a
neighbor. Help Spread Hope One community at a Time. We strive to keep
you informed of any future development/ events you.
Thank You.
